This is a versatile charger that can charge, discharge, and check rechargeable Ni-Cd and Ni-MH batteries. There is a built-in meter to indicate the strength of the battery being checked. It can be used with a combination of 1-4 pcs of cells of the following type: Micro AAA, Mignon AA, Baby C, Mono D .It can also be used to charge 1-2 pcs of Block 9V batteries.
